Pyloshot is a probiotic product containing non-viable lactobacillus reuteri
with three other probiotic strains plus magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate
and zinc gluconate.
After entering the stomach, L. reuteri can interfere with binding of
helicobacter pylori to the gastric mucus by binding to its receptors and

make it dispose through natural movements of gastrointestinal tract,
thereby significantly reduces the amount of H. pylori in the stomach.
The other three probiotic strains in this product can reduce the possible
side effects of H. pylori treatment (such as acute gastroenteritis and colitis
caused by antibiotics), and modulate its colonization in the gastric mucosa
and even they can be effective in eradicating or preventing H. pylori
infection.
Calcium carbonate and magnesium oxide are used as an antacid in the

treatment of dyspepsia and play a role in maintaining the balance of
electrolytes and the natural function of digestive enzymes.
Finally zinc plays an important role in establishing an appropriate acid-base
balance.
