Application:
Vitamin D is an important factor in the maintenance of good
health, which helps in the absorption and use of calcium and
phosphorus and supports the development and maintenance of
bones and teeth.
Vitamin D is essential for the regulation of calcium and phosphorus
homeostasis and bone mineralization.
Its deficiency is more common in people with inappropriate diet or
inadequate exposure to sunlight or patients with fat malabsorption
or renal failure.
