Application:
L-Carnitine is a compound derived from the methionine and lysine
amino acids, which plays an essential role in the metabolism of
lipids and energy production in the heart, liver, and skeletal
muscles. This compound leads to energy production, by
transferring long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria (the place
in which the fatty acids are oxidized). L-Arginine is also an amino
acid that is essential for growth. It contributes to the formation of
important physiological factors such as nitric oxide ( NO, a
vasodilator), creatine, proteins, and the release of the growth
hormone, and is effective in improving the immune system and
wound healing. Normally, L-Carnitine and L-Arginine are produced
in the body, but its supplementation is needed for athletes, period
of growth and in some diseases.
