Dalfyra

Application:
Dalfyra is using in the treatment of MS patients, improving gait in
patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), and reducing spinal cord
injury.
Dalfyra (slow-release fampridine) blocks potassium channels
which facilitates the speed of nerve conduction in demyelinated
neurons.
The drug was approved in 2010 to improve gait in MS patients.
Dalfyra is a 10 mg tablet and is prescribed to patients twice a day
at 12-hour intervals.
