Application:
Hemodialysis is one of the three methods for treating kidney failure. Two
other methods are kidney transplantation and peritoneal dialysis (PD)
When kidneys are in insufficiency or cell death condition, the blood needs
to be purified of waste and toxic substances such as urea and creatinine, as
well as the reduction of free and extra water in the blood outside body.
45 minutes battery backup, blood pressure sensor on intake filter, online
wireless remote monitoring of dialysis data during dialysis for networked
dialysis machines, data logging and saving data files / log files for each
dialysis session, printable graphic dialysis result sheet at the end of
hemodialysis process, programmable for three types of disinfection
operations (chemical, thermal & combined), adjustable settings for UF &
sodium profiles, and ability to compute and measure kt/v during
hemodialysis process (online clearance monitoring/ocm) are among
characteristics of the device.
