2 Noor
With the thrives of Mustafa (PBUH)
Science & Technology Foundation;
The commemoration
ceremony of Ismail Al-Jazari
successfully came to its end
with the collaboration of more
than five thousand students
from 7 countries around the
world and with the production
and submission of one
thousand and seven hundred
short films, and the elect
figures will be celebrated in a
special ceremony.

and according to the
Communications and
Information Staff of Mustafa
Foundation, in this round of
competitions, the students
were supposed to send
their scientific works and
experiments to the secretariat
of Noor student competitions
within 9 months until Sep.
2018. Meanwhile, some 5,122
students enrolled in the form
of 183 groups and about
1,733 films were sent to the
website of the secretariat.

This competition was a
ground for the remarkable
association of students from
the Islamic countries such as
Iraq, Tanzania, Tunis, Pakistan,
Afghanistan, Turkey and Iran.
After the end of the
Summon, the received
works were submitted to
the juries to be evaluated.
The juries participating in
Noor Student Competition
comprised experienced
mentors and instructors from
different student institutions,
whose names will be later
promulgated on the website
as soon as the arbitration
process is over.
Noor Student Competition, as
one of the events of Mustafa
Science & Technology
Foundation , is held once a
year in student-related affairs,
whose main objectives are
to play roles in the scientific
motivation of the teenagers in
the world of Islam, to create
modern horizons in science
& technology and to help the
ever-increasing development
of the brilliant talents.
Noor Student Competition,
which is held annually, each
under the name of one of
the eminent scientists of the
world of Islam, first came
to existence with the title of
“Noor Student Competition;
Commemoration of Ibn
al-Haytham” (the notable
mathematician and physicist
of the Islamic Golden Age
and the first Scientist in the
field of Optics) marking the
thousandth anniversary
of publishing his book
called Al-Manazer. This
competition which mainly
discussed around optics and
applications thereto recorded
the collaboration of more than
four thousand students across
the world having sent 1,650
films, and the owners of some
200 works were appreciated.
Noor Student Competition, in
its 2nd year of performance,
