Pardis Technology Park
signed a Memorandum
of Understanding with
5 UNICEF
Aimed at developing innovational plans for
children;
With the approach of
developing innovative
plans for children and
encouraging student
innovations, a memorandum
of understanding (MoU)
was signed between Pardis
Technology Park and UNICEF.
As reported by the Public
Relations Dept. of Pardis
Technology Park, in this
MoU which was signed by
Mehdi Safarinia, the Head of
Pardis Technology Park, and
Will Parks, the Manager of
UNICEF Office in Tehran, both
sides stressed on supporting
technological and innovative
plans for children.
In the closing ceremony,
having referred to his former
visit from Pardis Technology
Park three months ago, Mr.
Will Parks, the Manager of
UNICEF Office in Tehran,
declared that, “I am pleased
that this agreement has been

within only 3 months since my
previous visit from the Park,
and today we have been able
to sign a collaboration contract
with the biggest Technology
Park in the Middle-East.”
He also enumerated the long-
term cooperation of UNICEF
with the Government of the
I.R. Iran and asserted that, “in
line with this program, those
innovations carried out by or
for children will be supported,
and Pardis Technology Park
will play a significant role in
realizing this very objective.”
Mehdi Safarinia, the Head of
Pardis Technology Park, also
expressed consent for such
an opportunity to collaborate
with UNICEF, and called this
agreement as a milestone for
further mutual cooperation
and said, “having signed
the present agreement,
further mutual collaborations
in the fields of innovation
biotechnology development,
Noor Student Prize and
INOTEX Exhibition will be
defined and executed.”
Safarinia expressed hope
that the executive issues are
defined as soon as possible
and the executive processes
are initiated.
It is notable that UNICEF
was founded by the
recommendation of the
Economic & Social Council
of the United Nations and
confirmation of the UN
General Assembly in 1948. Pardis
